The end of the year is a natural time for resolution and reflection. With that in mind, here is a quickie audit and inventory exercise that you can self-administer in ten minutes or less.
My Top Priorities: What are my top three priorities in the year ahead? If I had to pick one “A” priority and relegate the other two to “B” priorities, what would each be?
What’s Changed? In reflecting on the past year, some things that once were essential and central are now peripheral, and vice-versa. What was once the tail often becomes the dog. Now is a great time to re-calibrate.
Where is Fear Holding Me Back? Human nature is to gravitate between fear and greed, and act accordingly. While desire and wanting is easy to pinpoint, we often avoid making eye contact with our fears. But, navigating our spiritual cliffs is daunting through darkness, and often paralyzes us to inaction. So shine a light on your demons, name them and own them.
Everything is workable with discipline and diligence. Similarly, if you don't document your answers, then they must not be important. :-)
Good luck and god speed in the year ahead!
