I am sure that this will seem obvious in retrospect, but EVERY marketplace should be able to cultivate a value add cryptocurrency strategy.
Think, for example, of how many levels Amazon could one day build micro strategy "tiers" around.
The easy ones that come to mind are:
- Amazon Prime
- Sell on Amazon
- Amazon Web Services
- Amazon Devices (Kindle, Fire, Alexa)
- Private Label (Amazon Basics)
Amazon Coins could be doled out according to Levels of Engagement, Loyalty, Promotion or Revenue Generation.
For Amazon, it's an opportunity to be a Market Maker in MONEY, providing Exchange services at varying rates for: A) Cash; B) Amazon Goods and Services; and C) Digital Goods.
To be clear, Amazon is just one fleshed out example.
All marketplace builders should bake crypto into their strategies from the get go.
